Google unleashes mobile software development kit, Android SDK

Keeping its promise to allow developers to freely write programs on its linux based operating system (Android) for cell phones, the search engine giant Google releases a new software development kit- Android SDK. Google is also offering a $10 million reward to developers who will create the best Android applications.
Android SDK is intended to help developers started creating new applications. It contains all the essential tools to build and run Android applications, including the advantages of a device emulator and debugging tools.
Android is the first complete, open and free mobile platform consisting of an operating system, middleware and key applications.
